Christopher Poulter, 26, of Bolney Road, pleaded guilty to two offences of committing an act outraging public decency and was sentenced to nine months suspended for two years on Friday January 10 at Norwich Crown Court.

The incident, which took place at St James’s pool in Kings Lynn, involved two girls aged 11 and 12.

Recorder Maureen Baker QC said that the quick-thinking actions in reporting Poulter to pool staff last January were commendable.

They were awarded £100 each.

She said that the girls had been left ‘nervous, scared and self-conscious and still affected’.

Prosecutor John Morgans said the girls became aware that Poulter was staring at them.

When asked why, he replied ‘because you look gorgeous and you look around my age’.

After swimming off he came back and said ‘this might sound weird and embarrassing but I will give you £15 to let me drink your urine’.

Both were upset and told pool staff who called the police. Mitigating Sarah Taite said Poulter was seeking to get help and support for his problems. She said: “He is never going to put himself and others in that position again.”
