Eastbourne burglary round-up

Police are investigating four burglaries in Eastbourne which took place between Friday (February 5) and Tuesday (February 9).

A retail property on Lottbridge Drove reported a break-in during the early hours of February 5 when suspects wearing face coverings smashed rear doors to gain entry, said police.

Metals were targeted from a property on Blackwater Road in the afternoon of the February 7.

Two males were seen gaining entry to the site and a vehicle registration number has been passed to the police.

Shutters were forced open on two commercial properties overnight on the same day as unknown suspects gained entry to the premises, said police.

A search has been conducted although police do not currently now what was taken.

A commercial property on Terminus Road reported a break in overnight on February 9.

Men in face coverings were seen on CCTV forcing entry through the front doors of the building while low value tools were taken.
