A 61-year-old man in Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a child, say police.

Officers attended an address in the Sovereign Harbour area on February 16.

According to police, a man was arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a child. He has been bailed, pending further enquiries.

Police were called to the same address on February 17 to a report of criminal damage, and this is also being investigated.
