December 16:

Tyler Blaker, 21, of Bracken Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on April 12 with cocaine and the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in his bloodstream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Stephen Chatfield, 44, of Seaside Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing meat and alcohol, worth £134.51, from Waitrose at Eastbourne on April 16. He was found guilty of assault by beating at Waitrose, in Eastbourne, on the same date. 
The verdict was proved in his absence. He was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. 
The court made a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered him to pay £999 in compensation.

Helen Kinman, 36, of Seaside Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW vehicle on Jubilee Way, Eastbourne, on August 9, while disqualified from driving. She also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for six months.

Ashley Butler, 19, of St Mary’s Avenue, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place on the A27, at East Sussex, on September 5. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £50 in compensation.

Daniel Beaumaster, 31, of Kings Avenue, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW vehicle on Churchdale Road, Eastbourne, on September 23, while disqualified from driving. He also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified at Eastbourne on the same date. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Michael Shepherd, 25, of Mallard Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Combo van on the junction of Seaside Road and Southbourne Road, on October 20, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 52 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance at Eastbourne on the same date. The court made a community order and banned him from driving for 16 months.

Gary Inscoe, 48, Wilmington Square, Eastbourne, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour at Eastbourne on December 9 2019. He was also found guilty of resisting a police officer at Eastbourne on December 23 2019. Magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest due to his not appearing in answer to court bail.
