Man arrested after armed police called to St Leonards

A 27-year-old man has been arrested after police executed warrants at two addresses in St Leonards.

Armed police were seen outside a property in Carisbrooke Road, St Leonards, at approximately 8pm on Thursday (March 25).

Another warrant was executed at an address in Hampden Close, also on Thursday night.

A small quantity of drugs was seized, police said.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at an address in Hampden Close and recalled to prison, a police spokesman confirmed.
