The parish council will use the money as part of its refurbishment of the play area at the playing field.

The tennis club will use the money as part of the redevelopment of its facilities.

PCSO Steve Knowles visited Plumpton and presented cheques to Councillor Clare Eastwood, the chairman of the parish council’s playing field committee, and Maria Roche, the chairman of Plumpton Tennis Club.

PCSO Knowles said: “Refurbishing these facilities will help more people to keep fit and active and will provide a real boost to the community.”
