String of thefts and burglaries across Chichester spark police appeal

Sussex Police has issued a number of appeals for information following a string of thefts and burglaries across the area in recent weeks.

Anyone with information about the crimes has been asked to contact police by dialling 101 or reporting online here.

Avenue De Chartres, Chichester – On Thursday 11 August a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. Serial 1321 24/08.Longacres Way, Chichester – On the afternoon of Sunday 21 August a vehicle was broken into. A laptop and phone were stolen. Serial 0256 22/08.Spitalfield Lane, Chichester – Overnight between Sunday 21 and Monday 22 August a vehicle was broken into and a laptop was stolen. Serial 0232 22/08.Anna Sewell Way, Chichester – On Monday 22 August a residence was burgled. A piece of furniture was stolen. Serial 0788 22/08.Emsworth Common Road, Emsworth – On Monday 22 August a silver Land Rover was stolen. Serial 1350 22/08.North Road, Bosham – On the evening of Monday 22 August a catalytic converter was stolen. Serial 1574 22/08.Weston Lane, Funtington – Between Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 August a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. Serial 0696 23/08.The Green, Chichester – Overnight between Thursday 25 and Friday 26 August an unlocked vehicle was entered and searched through. Nothing was stolen. Serial 0294 26/08.Westhampnett Road, Chichester – On the morning of Friday 26 August a blue Toyota Auris was stolen. Serial 0504 26/08.Wealden Drive, Westhampnett – On Friday 26 August an unlocked vehicle was entered and items of property were stolen. Serial 0374 26/08.
