More than 70 arrests have been made so far.

Sussex Police say that the three all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs from 28 November last year to March 2.

Shannon Sutherland, 22, of Abbey Avenue, Wembley, was jailed for 40 months, Rico Mitchell, 19 of The Avenue, Wembley, was given a 31-month jail sentence and Mesach Knight, 21, of Bunns Lane, Barnet, London, (all pictured) was sentenced to 30-months imprisonment when they appeared at Hove Crown Court on July 31.

Detective Inspector Julie Wakeford said: “These sentences are the latest for those arrested as a result of a drugs operation targeting the supply of heroin into the city. Our work which is supported by the Community Safety Partnership is an example of the excellent joint working that continues into the city targeting those who supply heroin while at the same time encouraging those who need to support with addiction into treatment.”
