Two women arrested after TK Maxx clothes theft

Two women were arrested on suspicion of theft after some clothes were stolen from TK Maxx in St Leonards on Thursday evening (August 4).

The theft at the A259 Bexhill Road shop was reported to police at 6.25pm.

Patrolling officers stopped a car in nearby Hull Rd soon afterwards and two women were arrested on suspicion of theft.

A small quantity of clothing was seized, according to police.
