THE Ambrette Restaurant in Rye is hosting a ‘Flavours of Philippines” gourmet evening on Sunday December 29 to raise funds for the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
Chef patron Dev Biswal has developed a special tasting menu of dishes from the region. All profits will be donated to Disasters Emergency Committee.
Dining is from 6.30pm and the meal is £30 a head. The style of cooking has evolved over many centuries from its Australasian origins to a mixed cuisine of Malay, Spanish, Chinese and American.
