Donation helps young players

Six junior teams at Westfield Football Club now have smart new kit and rain jackets thanks to Charity for Kids.

The kit and rain jackets, for players from the Under7’s, Under8’s and Under9’s , bears the charity’s logo.

Charity founder Paul Harris said: “We are delighted to have been able to make a difference to help the next generation of boy’s and girls wanting to play football.

“We are also delighted as the youth coaches Tony Harris and Duncan Jones have held fund raising events over the last two years through there Saturday Football Coaching Session (Pass and Move) at the St Leonard’s Academy on Saturday Mornings.

“Both Tony and Duncan give up a lot of there time and effort to help make a difference to the boy’s and girls wishing to be the next Football superstar.”

Charity for Kids would love to hear from families who are in need of financial support by purchasing specialist equipment or anything which would make a difference for sick, disabled and terminally ill children.

The charity also has a caravan at Crowhurst Holiday Park for families who need a respite break.
