Europe to taste delights of Bexhill

THE seafront's latest attraction features in Bexhill's new Official Guide.

Every home in Bexhill will be receiving a copy of the 44-page colour guide over the next three weeks. Wider distribution includes Northern Europe.

Prepared by Bexhill Promotions Group on behalf of Bexhill Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, the 2003 edition has a 70,000 print run and gives a diary of town events for 2003, lists local cafes and restaurants and offers visitors details of local hotels and guest houses.

Many aspects of town life were photographed afresh during last year, including a special spread dedicated to the new festive lights.

The new guide is being delivered to local households by the Post Office and will be distributed to tourist information centres and libraries throughout the country plus supermarkets in South London and Little Chef restaurants in Kent and East Sussex.

For the first time in many years it is also being distributed in Northern Europe and in ports of entry to this country.

Chamber communications officer and promotions group partner Sue Spice said: "Tourism is one sector of the economy that is growing and we are doing our best to encourage visitors to either stay in the town or to make day visits.
