East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is looking for people who would like to get involved in their own community and use their knowledge and skills to support the work of the service.

Volunteer roles are varied – from offering support at community fire and road safety events, to individual support to people in their own homes.

A spokesman said: “Our county covers a wide geographical area and having more volunteers who live in both rural areas and highly populated areas would enable us to increase our access to some of the harder to reach, vulnerable members of our community.”
