Firefighters search for missing van driver

Firefighters were called to out to search for a missing driver after an empty van was found in a ditch in Rye.

Two fire engines were sent to Military Road just after 8.10am this morning (Friday, September 4).

Crews searched the surrounding area, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

The woman who was driving the van was later found safe and well at home.
