Firm's fine linen has royal links

WORKERS at a Bognor Regis company will have their work shown in a royal celebration.

The staff members of Heirlooms will see their products on show in the Coronation Festival.

The event for firms with royal warrants is taking place from July 11-14 in the gardens of Buckingham Palace to celebrate the diamond jubilee of the Queen’s coronation.

Heirlooms is among an exclusive club which can boast two warrants – one from the Queen and the other from the Prince of Wales.

They have been awarded because the company’s fine linens are used in the 
regal households.

General manager Ruth Douglas said: “The royal warrants are all about the quality of our products, the fact we have supplied them for at least five years and the continuity of service.”

Heirlooms makes its top quality items for bedrooms and bathrooms on the Arun Business Park on Shripney Road. Its main business is supplying superyachts.

Trade is booming. Growth has been 33 per cent in two years. More staff are set to be added to the existing 20.
