Ford earmarked as possible eco-town
A FURTHER 5,000 homes could be forced on Arun after Ford was shortlisted as a possible location for an eco-town.
The Department for Communities and Local Government announced 15 locations on Thursday, which will now go through the next stage of consultation.
Two schemes, one from the Ford Enterprise Hub and the other from the Ford Vision Group for the former Ford Airfield site, have been submitted.
Comments have been pouring in about the shortlisting.
