Four cars have collided following reports of icy roads across Sussex this morning.

Hindleap Lane, in Wych Cross near Ashdown Forest, is blocked and traffic is reportedly slow and queuing after four vehicles collided this morning.

The incident took place between Twyford Lane and the A22 Lewes Road at about 8am today (Thursday, December 8).

The road between Wych Cross and Sharpthorne is reported to be very icy, according to traffic sources.

Sussex Police has been approached for more information.
