HELP is on hand for the hard of hearing when a free hearing aid and aftercare clinic takes place at Fairlight Village Hall on Friday December 6 from 10am - noon.
The session is being run by Hi Kent, the charity that supports deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
People with NHS hearing aids can drop in and get their hearing aids cleaned and re-tubed (not Life Tips) and also collect fresh batteries free of charge. They can also get free advice, and information on Hi Kent’s wide range of equipment, including special door entry systems, smoke alarms, telephones, conversation aids and television listening devices.
Hi Kent’s Debra Jones said: “We are delighted to be able to open this new clinic and bring our free, friendly service to people with a hearing loss in Fairlight. We look forward to seeing you there”
