Owen and Finlay played games and took part in fun activities with friends and family from 6am through to midnight including computer games, football, air hockey, drawing and much more.

The whole day was streamed live on the internet via webcam so that others who were not able to visit could also join in the fun. Their parents also hosted an open house during the day so people could visit for coffee, cake and games.

Marcia Dart, Fundraising Team Leader at the Hospice said: “We’re delighted to hear that Owen and Finlay have raised an amazing £1,300! Their hard work and support is greatly appreciated by everyone at the Hospice and we hope they enjoyed their fundraiser – it certainly looked like a lot of fun.”

Finlay and Owen said “18 hours was a lot longer than it seemed to start with, and we were quite tired by the end, but we had an amazing day and can’t believe we raised so much money.

“We are so happy that we have raised so much for such a great charity. Thank you so much to everyone that sponsored us”.
