If you are wondering what you can do this afternoon, Thursday:, why not go along to '˜Craft with Linda' at the Hardware Shop from 2 pm. I understand that she will be showing the art of quilling '“ what is quilling I hear you ask? Quilling, or paper filigree, is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. You are never too old to learn something new!

On Monday: it is Ladies Curry Night at the Hardware Shop from 7.30 pm; an ideal opportunity to meet up with friends, old and new, catch up with all the local news and hear the story of an artist who you may not know anything about. If you would like to go along, I would suggest you contact Christina (01444 400212 – or the Shop) as soon as possible to get your name down along with your order! The cost of the evening is £7 each or if you would like to go along with a friend, it is £10 for two – a bargain!

Finally: don’t forget the Parish Council Meeting next week, 25 February, from 7.30 pm in the Pavilion.
