Hastings Coastguard respond to shout of '˜boat in difficulty'

A full team from Hastings Coastguard were called out yesterday, following reports of a boat in difficulty.

Hastings Coastguard confirmed the shout was received at 7.52am, June 18, and Sussex Police, Hastings RNLI Lifeboat, Coastguard Helicopter and Border Agency Ship also attended.

After a full search, Hastings Coastguard stood down and returned to the station by 11am.
