THEY worked hard, they played hard and they had a whale of a time.
"That is the great thing about theatre," says Chichester's Sally Chittleburgh. "I am sure it is true of a lot of jobs, but it is particularly true of the theatre."
Sally-who was Sally Green back then-recalls with great affection her time as company manager at Chichester Festival Theatre for four seasons from 1978.
"It was busy and it was stressful, but I loved every minute of it."
