Holiday activities for kids - Pavilion

BOREDOM is something that children can avoid this summer.

The De La Warr Pavilion is holding a week of workshops to help children make the most of their time away from school.

The Small Prints workshop (July 22, 10.30am-12.30pm and 2.30-4.30pm) takes its cue from the Chris Drury exhibition. Children from four to seven years old will be encouraged to experiment with print making...with everything from thumbs to leaves and wooden blocks!

Children aged eight and above will get their chance to try drawing and print making. Artist Louise Burgess will lead the way, inspiring use of textures and detail.

Story tellers will take over on July 24 with tales for children aged four-seven.

Kate Corkery and Winston Nzinga give a performance of Telling Stones as Spud and Yam at 11am.
