Hurst Green

Colin Boylett, 2 Park Farm Cottages

The Hurst Green Community Shop & Café. Manager and Shift Manager appointments have been made at the Hurst Green Shop and Café which is another major leap forward towards the finishing line of this project. Both are already getting immersed in the finer details of the layout of the fixtures and shelving and establishing relationships with local suppliers for the provision of the shop’s fresh and local produce lines. Next week will see the installation of the glazed frontage and the automatic sliding glass doors – defining the last phase in the transformation of this former church to shop!

Last week, overnight on Friday/Saturday a number of items were stolen from the allotments, this included two sheds, some plastic garden chairs, grow bags, a camping cooker and spare gas cylinders.
