A seventy page report has been produced which will anable a new cash flow from the lottery. Groups hoping to use the premises have been named plus modifications for its use. Much more information should be published in the parish magazine in due course.

New equipment is to be installed at the playground. It was suggested by Cllr. Browne, Chairman, that a public village meeting be held to decided what choices are to be made for the use of the children, from teenagers to the very young, in this regard.

It was decided, by vote, that a tall beacon be erected at Stage Field. It may be recalled that at the Jubilee Celebrations the beacon was at ground level following an objection to a pole. That has now been overcome.

Street lighting was discussed at length with special regard to costs and in collaboration with East Sussex C.C.

A letter was then read by the Chairman about the Jubilee celebrations which had received wide spread admiration.

Full minutes can be seen at the village sign in Station road.
