Macmillan Coffee Morning: Today Friday 26 coffee and cakes will be on sale in Icklesham Village Stores in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.

Autumn Show: Tomorrow Saturday 27 September Icklesham Horticultural Society holds its Autumn Show in the Memorial Hall opening for everybody at 2.00pm, Plenty to enjoy including children’s exhibits,teas, raffle etc.

The Parish Church: Sunday 28 September 10.30 Family Communion and Harvest Thanksgiving. All Saints is beautifully decorated. Everybody is always welcome in our friendly Church.

Church Markets: The last market of 2014 raised £219.15. This meant the markets raised £1890.79 .The social committee team also made £842.69 at the Mayfair which resulted in them raising £2733.48 for the Church in 2014.

Harvest Supper: Friday 3 October in the Memorial Hall at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. A lovely meal and a friendly evening. Everybody welcome to this annual village event. Tickets £8 from Janet Pegg 01424 814735,

Five Villages: The recent Coffee morning raised an excellent £430 for the Mini Bus Fund. Well Done David and his all star team.

Quiz Night: Saturday 25 October and 16 teams are already entered. Any proceeds will be for the Parish Church.

Harborough Nurseries: Sadly the nurseries have a closing down sale. For over a century they have been a familiar part of the local scene with the quality of their plants and their invaluable expertise. The Nurseries were geographically in Guestling Green but were very much involved in Icklesham.

Bikers; Hugh and Annabelle Moseley completed their cycle ride for Sussex Historic Churches Trust and so far sponsorship has raised £304 but if anyone else would like to make a contribution it would be gratefully received.

Craft Fair: Saturday 11 October . The Autumn Craft Fair in the Memorial Hall. More details next week.
