- Saturday 3 March 10.00am - 2.30pm. A Spring Craft Fair in the Memorial Hall. Locally made art and craft works for sale.

- Congratulations to the Icklesham Players. The Panto “Cinders” had full houses for all 4 shows. Everyone had a really enjoyable time- the audiences ‘the cast and the front of house team. Well done everyone. Lots of local references including such a long advert for Icklesham Store that it had to be cut short.

- The Icklesham players are very versatile and the next production is a huge contrast. “The Woman in White” is based on a novel by Wilkie Collins which was serialised in a Victorian magazine between 1859 and 1860. The adaptation into a melodrama is by Janet Kates Tredinnick who also will direct the play. The book is the first English crime detection story.

It was a huge success and Charles Dickens began his crime novel ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’ 10 years later but died before he completed it. As a drama it offers actors the opportunity to play a variety of interesting and varied roles.

Auditions will be held in the Memorial Hall at 3pm on Sunday 4 March If you are unable to attend but would like to audition phone Janet on 01424 435333
