Iden village voice

The Iden and Playden Garden Society will be holding their Summer Flower and Produce Show in Iden Village Hall at 2.30 pm on Saturday 30th June - tomorrow. There will also be refreshments, a raffle and a plant stall. The presentation of Trophies will be at about 3.30 pm.

There will be an Open Meeting on Thursday 5th July at 7.30 pm in the village hall. This year is the 25th anniversary of Iden Fete. Please come to the meeting to talk to the committee who would like your help to run stalls, help with car parking and the many other tasks which are needed to make the Fete a success. The Parish Council will meet on Thursday 3rd July at 7.30 pm in the village hall.

The mid-week services are 9.30 am for Morning Prayer and 3.30 pm for Evening Prayer on Wednesday.

There is no service at Iden this week. Everyone is invited to St. Mary’s, Rye at 10.30 am for the Ordination of Graham Atfield.

The Bring and Share Lunch is on Sunday 1st July at 1pm to 2.30 pm in the Old Hall.
