Lost in Litter

Lost In Litter was the title of a production enjoyed by pupils of St Mary Magdalene's Catholic Primary School. The show, sponsored by East Sussex County Council, features Sherbert as he wades through a rubbishy world of litter.

The children all participated and had great fun while raising their awareness of the issues of litter and recycling.

The show was staged by Circus Takeaway and featured Nick Huckleberry Beak who kept the audience enthralled while he performed magic and mime.

Isobel, Year 4, said "We all really enjoyed the show '“ particularly the recycling quiz which was really funny and taught us a lot, too."

Headteacher Trish Longmire added: "The show was an excellent vehicle for getting sometimes quite complex messages across to the children in a fun and enjoyable way. The staff enjoyed it enormously too!"
