Man arrested after alleged Bognor Regis pub assault

A 23-year-old Bognor Regis man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He was arrested on Sunday, November 13, and remained in custody for questioning earlier this week after an alleged attack on a 33-year-old man in a town centre pub.

Police and emergency services were called to the William Hardwicke Pub in High Street about 11.55pm the previous night to reports of a man lying on the floor with a head wound.

The victim was taken to East Surrey Hospital for treatment and was discharged after treatment.
