Man’s home stolen

A Washington man returned from holiday last Sunday to find his home had been stolen.

Garry Neller flew back from Bulgaria on Sunday July 7 to find the caravan he lives in with his girlfriend missing from Washington Caravan and Camping Park in London Road.

Mr Neller said he was ‘aghast’ when he saw his caravan, a UK 700 Premier Hobby, was gone.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “A lock had been taken from the vehicle and was found discarded nearby.

“Police are keen to speak to anyone who is offered the chance to buy the caravan, which has the serial number WHB19N57HOSC31280 on it.

“Anyone who saw the caravan being stolen, or who knows where it is, should call 101 quoting serial 0793 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
