East Sussex Healthcare NHS trust was placed in special measures in September, following a critical report by the Care Quality Commission.

The trust, which runs the Conquest Hospital in Hastings and Eastbourne’s DGH, as well as community services across East Sussex, is to hold a mock inspection later this month in readiness for the return of CQC inspectors at the beginning of October.
