A motorcyclist who died in a road crash on Saturday (May 14) has been identified.

Sussex Police said Danny Overy, 22, of Castle Gardens, Mountfield, Robertsbridge, was riding a green Kawasaki motorbike on the B2096 Kane Hythe Road at about 6pm when he collided with a Ford Fiesta.

Mr Overy died at the scene. The car driver was treated for minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who saw either of the vehicles being driven immediately beforehand, is asked to contact or phone 101, quoting Operation Budget.

A 30-year-old man from London, arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and causing death by careless driving, has been bailed until August 26 pending further enquiries.
