Event organiser Janie Bishop identified Jim Rutherford, Bert Humphries and Gordon Holmes at the 1956 Dolphin Fair in Franklands, but is unaware who the fourth man is.

Snaps of the village dating as far back as the 1930’s will be on display in Franklands Village Hall from 10.30am-4.30pm at the reunion.

Janie said: “It’s nostalgic and evocative, people are coming all the way from France to stay.

“They’re all people who used to live here, people I knew a long time ago, it’ll be lovely.”

Attendees are encouraged to contribute their own photos to the exhibition.

“We have been sent a collection of delightful photos by many former residents,” Janie added.

All are welcome, tea coffee and soft drinks will be served.
