New home for nurseryThree year search ends in success for nursery
A popular nursery in Brede has finally moved into its new home after three years of searching for a suitable site.
The Country Buttercups private nursery, started in September 2011, has moved from the scout hut in Stubb Lane to a new building on the site of Brede Primary School this month. For founders Laura Jarvis and Helen Mallion (pictured), it signals the end of a huge three-year struggle. “This has been a rollercoaster ride for us,’ says Laura, 26, from Westfield. “We had to find a permanent because sharing the scout hut meant packing up the whole nursery twice a week.”
