If you’re not a seasoned punter, don’t worry – I got the hang of it very fast last time! Horses are on sale over the bar at £3, and on the night, bets are 50p. Local businesses have sponsored the races, so the horse-owner wins £25, and the bets are worked out by someone who understands maths!

The races are shown on the large TV screen in the pub, so it’s just like being there! Entry is free, Alice’s beer is always spot on, and the company’s good. Hope you can join us.

Pretious Sports Hall: The Sports Hall AGM will be held on Thursday 26th February at 7pm. Representatives from users and/or the local community are needed to stand for the committee – a vital role to ensure that the role of the community in building the Hall does not get forgotten in the future!
