Sandhurst Book Club holds its next meeting on March 15 at 8pm at the home of Stella when the book being discussed will be The Glass Room by Simon Mawr. Call 763440.

Looking back over 2013 the total rainfall was 820mm, almost 33 inches. Daytime temperatures reached double figures in April but nights were still cold. Summer finally arrived in July and continued into August, with September and October lovely too.

Sandhurst has booked the Rude Mechanical Theatre Company for their new play on July 23 on the playing fields at 7.30pm. The playing fields will be open from 6pm for picnics. For more information call Shirley Wiggs on 01580 850108.
