Heartfelt tribute
FIRST of all, I wish to thank all voters of Littlehampton Beach ward for re-electing me to both Arun District and Littlehampton Town Council, and will do my utmost to speak up for what is right for the town.
I wish to pay a heartfelt and deep tribute to my colleague, friend and deputy mayor, Nick Wiltshire. Nobody could have worked harder in the ward, and for the town, over the last four years. He has been a tower of strength and example of what a diligent councillor should be, and will be sorely missed.
I know that he will continue to work with residents and through the sports forum to make it a better community, and I am sure that he will be re-elected in due course. To my colleagues from other wards who have lost their seats, Ian Buckland, and Dave Botting, I also offer my thanks and praise, and I know that Ian will be back!
