Intrigued over case of councillor’s MOT
I WAS intrigued by the article tucked away on page 25 of the Observer of February 17.
I note that Cllr Maynard’s responsibilities includes road safety.
How can someone be charged with driving a vehicle which has no MOT only for the case to be dropped by the CPS due to ‘insufficient evidence’?
Either there is an MOT or there isn’t?
An answer may be most helpful to other souls who find themselves in this predicament, some of them not experts in road safety.
