No mention of Maltravers Park
I was interested to read the views of Margaret Boulton (Gazette, May 30), particularly in relation to Littlehampton’s desirable sites.
She urges care in any alteration to the ‘beautiful greensward’ in the town. She mentions The Windmill, the swimming centre and the long-abandoned hospital. However, there is no mention from her of Maltravers Park.
I wonder if this is because, as chairman of Littlehampton in Bloom, she was a party to the somewhat secretive plans last year to turn Maltravers Park into a ‘Community Growing Space’.
