The Friendship Singers would welcome fresh talent to enhance its alto and second soprano parts. As these voices sing in harmony, an ability to read music is required. An informal voice test would be given to assess suitability of range, etc.

The repertoire of the choir is varied and generally consists of light music. Last year's Christmas programme was well-received and enjoyed – now the singers are embarking on rehearsals of their summer concert.

Many local charities have benefited from the funds raised at these events. In addition, the choir provides musical entertainment to a number of local groups and societies throughout the year. The

Friendship Singers meet for practice on a Wednesday evening in Rustington, so any women interested in sharing their musical talent and experiencing the "feel good" factor should contact me on 01243 552609 or e-mail [email protected]
