FOLLOWING the Rustington East Week of Action, with activities for young and old alike, I would like to thank the residents who supported the event.

I understand everyone watching enjoyed seeing both Elliott Hartley (one of the Rustington police community support officers) and parish councillor Jamie Bennett in the mud at the football event held on Wednesday afternoon.

My thanks to my fellow parish councillors who gave their time for resident surgeries held on Monday and Friday, Jamie Bennett who attended all week on behalf of Rustington Parish Council, Elliott and his PSCO colleague Hannah, members of Neighbourhood Watch and all the other local agencies involved during the week.
