Thanks for vote of confidence

I WOULD like to thank all the parishioners of Yapton, Ford and Climping for electing me as their district council representative on Thursday, March 20.

I can assure them that I will represent them and make sure that their voice is heard in the council chamber.

I would also like to say to all those who didn't vote for me, that I will represent them without fear or favour while I hold this office.

I would also like to thank my opponents for a good campaign, especially the Liberal Democrats, and all the people who came out to support and help me achieve my victory.

I now look forward to taking up my seat in the council chamber and working closely with councillor Steven Haymes, my fellow district councillor for the ward.
