Thanks to Bognor Neighbourhood Watch

I WAS privileged to be present on Thursday at the Regis School for the AGM of Bognor Neighbourhood Watch. At the start of volunteer week it is fitting that the group held its AGM and for the group the sense of a fresh start was very evident as Roger Nash handed over the role of chairman to Terry Claxton.

As a newcomer to the role and organisation of Neighbourhood Watch I was deeply impressed by the commitment shown by so many members of the schemes across Arun District. It was also fantastic to see so many members of Arun District Council, Bognor Town Council and other agencies such as Sussex Police and West Sussex County Council.

I would strongly encourage readers to consider joining their local group, and help reduce crime for all of us.
