Well done to the police

The headline in the Bognor Regis Observer (September 6) was the best news that I and no doubt many more Bognor Regis residents have heard for some years.

Sergeant Rachel Glenton and her team deserve the highest of praise.

Let’s hope that Operation Accent will send a message to all would-be Eastern European visitors that you come here to work and integrate

Another point of concern is the number of foreign-plated cars NOT displaying a road fund licence. This could mean there is no MOT or insurance and this could have disastrous consequences if involved in an accident. So a purge on these cars would also be welcome.

Once again, well done to Sergeant Glenton and her team.
