Panto stars unveiled at the White Rock...

PANTO fever returned to the White Rock Theatre as the venue paraded its latest star-studded line-up on Monday.

Following the success of last year's performance of Jack and the Beanstalk, the assembled cast will now be adding a little panto pizzazz to the classic tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Amongst the stars of this year's production are CBBC and Disney Club presenter Kate Heavenor. Also featured will be Home and Away's Ben Steel as the prince, with the role of the dame to be played by Frank Williams, best known as the Reverend Timothy Farthing in Dad's Army.

Glasgow-born Kate - who is set to play Snow White - said: "I haven't explored the seaside before. I'm looking forward to trying the fish and chips after the show. I've also found a pub that sells Irn Bru in bottles, so I'll feel right at home."

The panto fun will run from December 10 to January 2. Tickets are available from 10 to 12 from the Box Office on 462288.
