The Peasmarsh Chamber Music festival will be running from Thursday 19 through Sunday 22 June. Except for the Friday evening concert all events will take place at Peasmarsh Church. The outstanding young musicians who constitute the Celan Quartet and have given May Bank holiday audiences at Peasmarsh so much pleasure in 2012 and 2013 will be performing again at the Coffee Concert on Sunday morning. Don’t miss them ! These young people have also been involved this year in the education programme concurrently taking place in our primary schools. At 1pm today (Friday 20) the children will be performing their compositions, the Celan will be playing, and in addition to invited parents there will be limited space for members of the public.
As mentioned last week there are allotments at the Maltings to rent for just £15 or £10 per annum - or you could just rent half an allotment if a whole one seems a bit daunting! Call the parish clerk on 01424 752698 for further details.
Visit the hall website (www.peasmarshmh.org.uk) to find out what’s on the menu for the lunch club next Monday. Profiteroles for dessert !
The hall website also has details of all the clubs/group activities that take place there - have a browse and see if there is anything that takes your fancy!
