LUNCH CLUB: It has been necessary to put the Lunch Club on “hold” for the time being, since there are not enough people signing up for the meal to make it a viable proposition. This is a shame, but the hall committee will try to get it going again as soon as possible.
BROWNIES: Please note that Brownies will be starting again on January 12 – not January 5 as previously stated.
PEASMARSH SURGERY: As most of you will know already the Rye Medical centre will be opening its satellite surgery at the hall for the first time on Tuesday January 6 and the next one will be 2 weeks later, January 20, at 11.30am. If you want an appointment you must book it through the Rye Medical Centre. We all hope that this enterprise, for which so many people fought so hard, will be a successful one, and a great benefit to the village.
PEASMARSH QUIZ: Don’t forget the first Peasmarsh Quiz of the year will be on Saturday January 10, 7.30pm at the hall. Entrance is £5.50 which includes a ploughman’s supper; bring your own drinks.
FLOWER ARRANGING CLASS: There will be a Flower Arranging Class on Wednesday January 14 at 10am.
FLEA AND COLLECTORS MARKET: The next Flea and Collectors market will be held on Sunday January 18 at 9am at the hall.
CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church.
