FILM NIGHT: Film Night tomorrow (Saturday February 7) at the hall - ‘What we did on our holiday’ with David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly. Doors open at 6.45, film starts at 7.30; tickets cost £5 which includes refreshment. Tickets are available from Hilary on 230205, via the hall’s website or at the door - numbers are limited so it would be best to reserve in advance.
RECREATION GROUND: By now you should all have received your February copy of the Peasmarsh Periodical with (hopefully!) a form to complete about the children’s playspace. Please complete this form and return it to the Memorial hall; any help you can give will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
LINDY HOP CLASSES: As the Lindy Hop classes proved so popular they will be continuing through February every Tuesday until March 10, 7-9pm. Classes are suitable for beginners and cost £5 including tea and cake. For more information contact Leah on 01797 226041.
BALBOA DANCE WORKSHOP: On Sunday March 1 there will be a Balboa Dance Workshop at the Memorial hall from 2 - 5pm. The workshop is designed to suit all levels, everyone welcome! COMPUTER TRAINING: February Training from Rother Voluntary Action - Free training available to you at Peasmarsh Memorial Hall Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 18 of February 10 am to 12 pm “Beginners Guide to using a Tablet PC”. JUMBLE SALE: Please remember the Jumble Sale at the hall on Saturday March 7; the hall will be open the night before from 6-7pm for donations of jumble.
QUIZ NIGHT: The next Quiz night at the hall will be on Saturday March 14 - put the date in your diaries so you don’t miss it!
EASTER LILIES: You are invited to buy an Easter Lily in remembrance of a loved one - these will be arranged in Peasmarsh church for Easter and names will be read out during the service, to which everyone is welcome. Mrs Sue Cavilla at Whitebrooks, School Lane, has agreed to collect the names and £3 9which is the cost of each lily). Closing date for orders is March 22.
CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday February 8 both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church.
