DEFIBRILLATOR NEWS : As you will have seen in the Peasmarsh Periodical, we now have a defibrillator installed in the Memorial hall. This is as a result of collaboration between Peasmarsh Parish Council, Rother Responders and the Memorial hall committee. The Parish Council met the full cost with the Memorial hall Committee offering to let the hall be used as the permanent location. The defibrillator will be available for use in an emergency 24 hours a day 7 days a week and will be maintained by Rother Responders, who may even operate it in an emergency.

On Wednesday September 16 at 7pm Rother Responders will be giving a demonstration on how to use the equipment and answering any questions that people may wish to raise; residents are urged to attend this meeting to see how it might save their life or the life of a family member one day.

ROCK & ROLL EVENING : Not long now until the Rock and Roll Evening at the hall - Saturday August 15 at 7.30pm until 10.30pm. Tickets cost £13 which includes a fish and chip supper; (bring your own drinks and glasses) and are available from Jan Weston 20 School Lane 230877 between 6-7 pm, or from the St Michael’s Hospice shop in Rye.

DOCTOR’S SURGERIES : The remaining surgery for August will be held on Tuesday 18 at 11.30am at the hall; appointments should be booked through Rye Medical Centre.
